New Glass Review 46 Corning Museum of Glass

My work “AI is sneaking in” was selected for New Glass Review 46 and will be published there.

Here is an excerpt from the letter by Tami Landis (Curator, New Glass Review 46):

Congratulations!
  Dear Elke Krismer,

I’m pleased to inform you that AI is sneaking in has been selected for publication in New Glass Review 46!

Thank you for submitting your work for consideration. Sitting on selection panels is an aspect of my practice that I enjoy very much. The opportunity to view such wide-ranging artworks is invigorating and enriching. This year we received 745 applications from 47 countries and reviewed a total of 2,068 media files. l love seeing the development of artists whose practices I’ve followed for years and being introduced to folks with whom I’ve yet to cross paths. Your dedication to your work is clear, as is the sustained vulnerability it takes to share it.

In addition to being published, your submission will be added to the Museum’s archives, the single largest collection of images of contemporary glass from the last 46 years anywhere in the world. While the full collection isn’t available online, your images will be preserved and available to onsite researchers upon request. I’m glad to have your work represented.
